Another Week Gone By....

The days just come and go for me. The kids had a sleep over at their grandparents' house last night and were gone half of the day...and they sure have a lot to talk about when they come home! My Hubby worked overtime all weekend...good and bad...it will make for a long week!!! I have a meeting tomorrow night at my uplines house...looking forward to it...it really enjoy her meetings. We are doing a swap card...MB no peeking!!!! The last time we did a swap MB and I used the same stamp set, almost the same layout but different colours! Hopefully this time we have been inspired by different stamp sets! So here is my card..... I hope you like it.

Tomorrow night I will post the Swaps I got in return.

Saturday Afternoons are the Best!

Today I felt a little creative...I have more ideas than I have time to make! Tonight I must go into work but tomorrow I get to scrap! Here is my card for today... I hope you like it!

I love this card...I found inspiration from another card I saw in a magazine. I think I will use this for a swap card for my Uplines' meeting on Monday night...I'll have to only make 4 more. The tree comes form the stamp set Season of Friendship...my colours are Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue. I used the new Polka Dot embossing folder, the clear Big Shot Circle Die and lots more. Have a great day!

Fun with a Friend tonight!

I got to stamp with a good friend tonight...I had fun! We didn't get too much accomplished on our project but I sure enjoy her company!
So I found the picture that I took of the Scrapbook page I sent in to the Artisan Award Contest....and here are of the other projects.....

Late Night Post

I had a class tonight. Lots of fun...met some new girls! And some old!!! So I have something a little different for you...Stampin' Up! has an annual Artisan Award Contest and last year I entered. You have to enter 5 cards, 3 Scrapbook pages and two 3D objects....sadly I didn't win :( but some of the samples I entered made it to the Stampin' Up! Convention on the display boards! Here is a picture of one of the boards with the scrapbook page I made of Summer. Can you see my girl? She's the little cutie at the very bottom. She made it to convention before me! I get to go this year! I AM GOING TO CONVENTION!!! I'm very excited. It's not until July...long way off I know...but we booked our flights this weekend! FIVE days of Stampin' fun!!! My sweet hubby will be taking a weeks vacation so I can go. I luv him. He is so good to me.

Here is a simple card that I made this week. I just love this flower! It's made with the new Extra Large Flower Punch and the new Sweet Pea DSP stack. I love this paper stack! There are so many different patterns and colours that I can make project after project! I have a few in the works...one done and two on the go...you'll see it soon. I'm off work tomorrow and I hope to get lots of time to scrap! HAve a great Friday night...I must go get the kids to bed.

So Little Time!

Sorry it has been a few days since I posted. Sunday I was the lucky one who got to do the opening and closing at work.....then I was so tired I fell asleep on the couch while the kids watched a movie with my hubby.
Speaking of hubby...he made me French Toast on Saturday morning for my Bithday breakfast and he made me steak and baked potatoe for dinner...and the best part was for my birthday dessert, he made me Peanut Butter and Chocalate Pie! Oh, he spoils me! Sweet, sweet man of mine!
Monday night I went to an Uplines' Downline's Meeting...confused yet? Loads of fun...I demo'ed stamping on onesies. I'll post some of those on here once I get some pic's. I wore out the batteries on the camera at the meeting with all the beautiful samples that all the demonstrators shared. Very Talented group of women!
Tuesday night I held a Valentine's Class....fun, fun, Thank you ladies!
And today I spent a day with my Mom and my Daughter shopping and lunching.
But I have been working a couple of new projects....stay tuned....so sorry no pic today : (
I must get off to bed now. Wow, it's late! G'night!

It's my Birthday but you are going to win a present!!!

So today I turn 35. Wow...I only feel about 25. People always say that....but I think that is the age most of us realize we are no longer children and have to start acting like adults...some of us never do...lol. In the past ten years I have gotten married to my best friend...have two beautiful children...one boy, Liam (now 6.5) and one girl, Summer (now 3.5), we bought our house (big step!) and I've started my new business. We have been busy. I can say though that I am truly happy in my life! We have been blessed.

Here is today's card....I used the new Vintage Vogue Stamp set form the Occasions Mini...plus a few other stamps from other set...I can never stick to just one...I like to mix them all up! I hope that you like this one.

It's NAP time...and it's so quiet!!!

I just found out this week that Summer will be going to school full-time in September. I have mixed feelings about it....because as of right now she still requires a two hour nap to get though  the day. One day last week I let her stay up and skip naptime to play with her friend Emma....and I'll tell you that we all paid for that! She was like a tazmania devil! She wanted dinner then she didn't, then she did....then we threw it out and she had a complete meltdown..."I want my supper!!!". The neighbours must have thought that we were trying to starve the poor child....but if you know Summer then you know that she is not starving! She ended up going to bed at 6:30pm. So, I have no idea how she will manage to get throgh everyday all day at school. We'll just have to wait and see.

Enough about me....here is todays' project...Valentine's! Here we are using the Heart Shaped Sweet Treat Cups. I made these with Liam's class in mind. It doesn't use too much paper because the kids are just going to tear it apart to get the candy, right? Very simple. This is the project for my class on Tuesday the 19th and Monday the 25th. The cost includes two packages of the candy cups...there are 24 cups...most classes are around 20 and there will be a few left over for the childs teacher, siblings and other favorites. Make sure that you keep one out for your child too. We did the Sweet Treat cups for his class at Christmas and Liam gave his to the EA...so sweet.

Tip of the day: use a non foaming cleaner to clean your Stampin' Scrub...like Lysol 4-in-1 cleaner. Spray it on and scrub it in with your fingers and rinse well until the water runs clear.

 

I've been inspired and I've had time to be creative!!!

Stampin' Up has started this new website for Demonstrators only....it's like facebook and splitcoast all in one...so I've been inspired by all the beautiful work done by all those demonstrators who graciously share their creations. So here is one that inspired me by Diana Gibbs. This is the side I created for the Decor Blocks. The other three side where created by her...I loved them too much so I just recreated hers.
I will be holding a class on this project....date to be determined....just let me know that you are interested and I'll sign you up.

I should get to bed now....morning comes early and these late nights are starting to catch up with me.

Today is the day I finally have HIGHSPEED internet!!!! I know, I know.....anyway, it is done and now I can get on with it...all of it. I want to share my creations with you. Now I can do just that. I follow other blogs I have come across my very own designs. Now I can put them on my own blog...and share them with you myself.
